Carlie Kinto’s (Leagjeld) work explores the metaphysical and the otherworldly through process-oriented abstraction. Intuitively letting the work unfold layer by layer, each mark guides the way in an organic, evolutionary process of discovery. Her work uses repetitive dots and dashes as a process of meditation and remembering. Her work often has a central focal point that resonates with a state of calm and contemplation. Each piece explores the unknown, the unseen, and the unspoken, while reflecting on what is felt and deeply known within.
